Differ from other hitting pads available the Hatton Hook & Jab Pads fully absorb impact on both hook and straight punches, unlike traditional pads which tend to force your knuckles away from the pad on straight punches (damage has been found on the metacarpal bones in the hands of boxers using traditional straight pads).
